4 Nights in Cape Town
Cape Town
Cape Town is a port city on South Africa's southwest coast, on a peninsula beneath the imposing Table Mountain. Affectionately known as The Mother City, it was established in 1652 as a refueling station for ships bound for the East (the Spice Route), and became the first city in South Africa. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful metropolises in the world. Nestled against the iconic Table Mountain and surrounded by beautiful beaches and the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Town offers visitors a host of outdoor adventures and leisure activities. With a number of luxury hotels around the peninsula, it also makes for the perfect base from which to embark on tours of southern South Africa - either inland or along the south and west coasts.
The Cape Grace
Now a Fairmont property, Cape Town’s most beloved V&A Waterfront hotel has reopened with a completely revamped interior. The updated space honors everything guests love about Cape Grace - rooms overlooking spectacular Table Mountain and the marina, the Prohibition-inspired Bascule whiskey bar, and stellar personalized service. Refreshed with contemporary African design, a spruced-up spa program, and new upscale dining experiences this beautiful property hits all the right notes.

Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden
Over ten years in the making, the Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden is a spectacular living gallery. The expansive vistas, scents and the sounds of nature, with tranquil groves, hidden paths and lush indigenous vegetation are incredibly beautiful. This project began serendipitously in 2009 when Lewis hired an excavator on a whim and began shaping the contours of what would become the seventeen-acre sculpture garden. Today, the artist continues to explore themes integral to his work in this serene landscape on the slopes of the Stellenbosch Mountain looking out over vineyards towards the ocean. Here, the notion of the untamed wilderness within the human psyche is expressed both in the sculptures and their positioning in the landscape. This is a place where the artist has explored the notion of ‘wilderness’ through sculpture and landscape design with more than 60 sculptures that chart the trajectory of the artists career along just under 3 miles of path that takes you through these spectacular gardens.
Lunch at Rust en Vrede
Nestled in arguably the most beautiful wine valley in the world, Rust en Vrede is one of the top dining experiences in the country. Located on its namesake's wine estate, Rust en Vrede offers intricate dishes showcasing a variety of seafood, poultry and meat, all perfected by Chef Fabio Daniel serving contemporary French cuisine, adding his own unique flair taking inspiration from his Brazilian and Italian heritage.
Franschhoek Art Galleries
Enjoy a visit to some of the smaller art galleries in Franschhoek, such as: IS ART GALLERY, EBONY CURATED, and EVERARD READ FRANSCHHOEK.
Epice Restaurant
Epice is the latest venture from the team behind La Colombe, La Petite Colombe, Foxcroft and Protégé. The name - derived from the French word Épice meaning spice (and is pronounced eh-peace) - is an intimate fine dining restaurant located at Heritage Square, Franschhoek. Serving an array of delectably curated dishes, the fine-dining restaurant is headed by chef Charné Sampson (previously sous chef at La Colombe), and features a flavor-packed menu inspired by the team’s culinary expedition to India, as well as memories of travels through Spain, Japan, Mexico, Denmark and the US. Chef Charné’s menu features home-cooking-style dishes with a refined edge. Says Scot: "Charné has always had a love for spices and Epice is the perfect place for her to weave her magic."
Day 6

Lunch at Delaire Graff Restaurant
Nestled in arguably the most beautiful wine valley in the world, Delaire Graff Restaurant is a year-round culinary destination showcasing creative bistro style cuisine. Oldenburg Vineyards
Oldenburg Vineyards is situated in an elevated position in the Banghoek Valley, above the town of Stellenbosch. The major geographical features that create our unique climate are known as The 8 Elements. The farm is surrounded by an imposing mountain amphitheater and the vineyards arranged like puzzle pieces around Rondekop, the iconic round hill which influences the vineyards planted on and around it, creating the extraordinary terroir. The Tasting Room at Oldenburg Vineyards provides the nexus between the natural beauty of the mountain amphitheatre, the vineyards on Rondekop and the wine in the glass in front of you. The whole experience is about bringing what is happening in the vineyards back into your glass. They believe that when they tell people about the wine, it is the stories that bring it to life.
Explore Stellenbosch
Explore the beautiful Stellenbosch town and its surrounds. Due to the variety of soils and locations, the Stellenbosch area is home to a wide selection of grape cultivars, which places it at the forefront of the South African wine scene. Stellenbosch is also a famous University town. The heart of the town lies near the oak-lined Dorp Street. With its venerable old buildings, this is the University's main thoroughfare, where modern student life sits comfortably within the town's rich history and architectural heritage.
