Like WildAid, we believe that mobilizing our global community around the benefits of protecting what wildlife we have left is the most effective way to generate positive change. With celebrity ambassadors such as Leonardo di Caprio, Lupita Nyong’o, Sir Richard Branson, Jackie Chan and Maggie Q – not to mention an impressive and powerful global network of media partners – WildAid leverages over $230 million in annual pro-bono media support.
It’s a given that we support WildAid’s use of high-impact media campaigns, backed by some of the world’s most influential voices. Which is why during the course of our partnership with WildAid we have donated more than $125,000 in prizes for their annual gala dinner in Beverly Hills. At this shimmering affair, WildAid raises the funds needed to facilitate their mass-scale brand of wildlife conservation – one that reaches millions of people via their hard-hitting video, print, and online campaigns.
Working from a place of deep insight and with an acute understanding of Africa’s many strengths and complexities, our mission to promote sustainable travel by creating the kind of life-changing journeys that encourage dialogue, promote an exchange of ideas and facilitate active participation between guests and local communities, echoes WildAid’s values perfectly. To this end, we only work with people and properties who share our vision of sustainable travel and whose ethics resound with our own. As such ROAR AFRICA infuses every curated journey we design with a sense of humanity – an intangible, undefinable quality that has the power to sustain us all.
We are immensely proud and excited to announce that this year we will gift WildAid a 12-night luxury African experience. This once-in-a-lifetime journey begins in the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town at the Cape Grace Hotel, where our guests will discover the highlights of my home city. From there they will travel to the Zambian bush where they will spend four unforgettable nights in luxury at Time + Tide private lodges. Last but by no means least, the pair will jet off for the final leg of the trip, where they will spend five nights at the remote, ultra-luxurious Indian Ocean eco-sanctuary Time + Tide Miavana in Madagascar.
WildAid’s 2019 Gala, “A Night in Africa”, will be held on Saturday, November 9th at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. If you’d like to donate or book a table for this prestigious event, click here. If the idea of this itinerary excites you please email Welcome@roarafrica.com.
